We need to foster an environment of trust and safety where our children can thrive. As taxpayers we should demand more. School facilities that are cutting edge. Teachers who are energized to come to work every day because they have the support and environment they need to drive results. We won’t get there in a day, but we need to think big and have a vision for our future.
Economic Development
Warwick has an unbelievable opportunity to grow its economic footprint, attract world class organizations, grow our bustling restaurant and waterfront scene. I will work with all City leaders to ensure we are providing the support needed to grow our City in sustainable and responsible ways.
City Efficiency
If we are going to grow our economic base, the City must further its investment in technology and extract friction from all aspects of City service. In my over 20 years experience I have led organizational transformation efforts leveraging technology to create superior customer experience. As citizens and taxpayers, we are the customer. We deserve process and systems that optimize our experience while minimizing waste.
Term Limits
Throughout my career I have learned to understand the value in bridging new perspectives to challenging problems. I believe that change brings new life and new opportunities. I celebrate the dedication of an individual who would want to serve the community for many, many years but firmly believe that there should be a limit to the number of terms served on City Council in Warwick. I do think there should be other opportunities for anyone with that type of dedication to continue to share their talent and time with the citizens of this City.
Preservation, Sustainability, and the Environment
Warwick has 39 miles of coastline, much of which is publicly accessible and open for all to enjoy. We must continue to protect and preserve the wonderful open spaces in Warwick. We must also ensure that the effects of climate change are evaluated and smart plans implemented to mitigate risk to the City and its residents.
